ITE polyurethane panel screens are designed to be installed on ITE industrial shakers and ensure the dewatering of heterogeneous solid-liquid mixtures.
ITE vibration shakers operate at a g-force of up to 6.3 G and put the panel screens into motion, separating the solid particles contained in the suspension into fractions while dewatering the disperse solids mixture.
The near mesh-size particles and/or fineness of separation are based on the respective mesh width of the screens that ranges from 11 x 3.5mm to 11 x 0.3mm.
Properties
| Due to the variety of different mesh widths PU panel screens may be optimally adjusted to the properties of the suspension (grain fraction, viscosity etc.) | |
| The hammer-wedge attachment system ensures swift and uncomplicated replacement of the PU panel screens | |
| The shakers equipped with the PU panel screens are only exposed to a minor risk of clotting/blockage (e.g. due to sticky clay); thus, they are ideal for suspensions containing adhesive solids | |
| Compared with stainless steel woven fine screens of the same mesh width ( -> less capacity), PU panel screens display a less open screen area while being more wear-resistant and, thus, more durable than stainless-steel fine screens (in particular regarding abrasive mixtures) |
Applications
| Slurries in the construction sector (e.g. tunnelling, horizontal and vertical borings, geothermal borings, HDD (horizontal directional drilling)) | |
| Industrial slurries (e.g. coke dust, tar oil and fibre glass water mixtures, oil lagoons, carbon dust) | |
| Agriculture (e.g. dewatering of dairy farm waste or organic waste) | |
| Slurry dewatering during gravel and sand processing |
